Description
Our landscapes are constantly changing. In the UK, human activities have been, and continue to be, a key driver of this. As people alter land use to suit human needs, this affects the fortunes of other species. In this booklet, Dr Gardner describes the work of the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology in building computer models that simulate the lives of species and how the models can be used to better understand how other species are using landscapes, and how landscape change can affect them.
